Exported and Final MOVS

Here are my finals MOVS......

Here is my first short movie, where it introduces the people and signs into all the social networking sites ....

Here is my second movie, where it includes people that want to study with the OU...

Here is my last movie, where it includes people that have gained their degrees with the OU...

Exporting my work into MOVS

After i had finished all my editing and my films were complete, i had to export them as MOVS so people could watch them in quicktime and online etc....

I did this by going to- File>Export>Using Quicktime Conversion. Originally i had trouble with this as i only selected Quicktime Movie, not Conversion. What this did is exported the movie, but it was not 'stand alone', so as soon as you dragged the movie away from the original FCP versions, i did not work, it would only work locally to its original files. So i asked my lecturer and they told me where i went wrong.

Then when it brought up the next menu, i had to click on the options tag, and check i had all the correct settings i wanted my video to be outputted to.

Then in the settings are, i had to make sure it was compressed at H.264 and the keyframe was current, and the size was 1280x720dp! Oh and i had to tick the sound box, as its standard form does not come with sound.

When i had all my settings correct, all i simply had to do is save it where ever i wanted and it took about 5 mins to export each video. Now the video's can be opened up in any software that allows you to play video's in.
