Similar Video Editing and ideas

I have been doing a bit of research into what i would like my edits to look like, and simular footage that i want to include.

All is needed now is to film my footage, and get out practicing.

This video, i found on Youtube, and it is of a French Stunt man, Julien Dupont. He is riding the same simular bike that will be in my footage which is a trials bike, and performing the same similar stunts that will be within my footage.

This video, is a very good inspiration. However the editing that will be simular to mine, lasts until 30 seconds within the video. Then the fast editing stops, which will not be anything like what i am meant to include in my footage. So only watch video until 30 seconds.

Crash Bang Wallop!!!

New Assignment and the last one of the academic year.-

I will use Video Editing techniques and software to convey a fast stimulating experience to the viewers of my video.

I am given a brief, where i have to create a short film, that lasts no longer than 15 seconds. It states that the piece must strictly have no less than 20 cuts in the duration of the film. It is suposedly of an everday situation in a dramtic or dynamic way.

We have been given two examples, these are:

  • The unbearable loudness of making breakfast as seen through a hangover.
  • Riding a children's roundabout made to seem dark, sinister and threatening.

I am required to use a HD digital camera to create my footage for the film. The software i will be using to produce this project is Final Cut Pro. I will also use Soundtrack pro to edit any sound effects. I will also use the software compressor to change the format of my video's. However, any additional content we place into our videos must be copyright free.
