Filming

I had a tight schedule for filming, as i could not get up to the ground where i was shooting until mid day, due to transport. However, i got there at mid day and started shooting. It is of me on my trials bike in the woods, and i am dressed up with all my protective clothing on. Through out the footage, i perform tricks and stunts, which makes the piece very exiting and stimulating I deliberately chose this, as i find that having footage if someone 'waking up' or 'cooking breakfast' fairly boring and very abysmal. I personally would rather watch paint dry! So i think that i am onto something good.

The piece starts off, with me off the bike, in my normal clothes, to me putting my clothes on, starting the bike up, puting my helmet and gloves on, entering the woods, performing tricks and stunts, and then leaving the ground.

This video helped me overcome the different types of angles and shots to include in my sequence.

This video shows you, what fast and slow editing does to a sequence, and its effect on its audience:

Lastly, here are some more examples of sequence that include fast and slow cutting.

Terminator 2

Fast and Furious

As well as films, computer games can also have very fast paced cutting and editing to stimulate the game/product.
